Welcome to Music Appreciation!!!!!
This is a brand new class at Oakridge, and you get to help shape it! We will be listening, discussing, analyzing, arranging, creating and learning about music! We are a hybrid of Beginning Instrumentalists, experienced Advanced Band members, and a few kiddos that have either NEVER been in music, or took a year or more off.
Our class is designed to give you experience with different forms of music. At some point we would like to develop an Electronic Music Unit. Keep in touch.... we'll see how we do in the computer lab...!
Please forgive the formatting of this page... it is from a past class I taught, and I don't want to loose all of the project information!

Nov 19th - 3 Files with Audacity editing out silence.
Naming Files - ADD your First and Last Name to the beginning of each of the files.
What's in a name??? Import and Export are two new words for us... they mean very distinct things.
For Audacity and Movie Maker... Open and Import are different.... Save and Export are different.... they are like light and day; apples and oranges; Beavers and Ducks.
Ducks are right - just like exporting. :)
